Bloomberg 1H 2018: Ellex leads the Eastern European M&A market by deal count
Bloomberg has announced the top legal advisors in 1HY 2018 by releasing the latest global and domestic M&A rankings. According to the results, Ellex holds the dominant position in the Eastern European M&A market by having advised on a total number of 32 deals with a value of USD 1,050 million.
Additionally, Ellex is the only Baltic law firm that is ranked both in the M&A category in the Nordic region deal table (by deal count), and European M&A deal table (having advised on a total number of 37 transactions).

- EMEA: Deal volume for EMEA-based targets increased 34.8% from the same period last year to $527.5 billion.The United Kingdom was the most sought-after country in 1H2018, with $182.4 billion in transactions.
- EMEA: The communications sector was the most targeted industry experiencing a year-over-year growth of 658.7% and accounting for 20.3% of the transactions for the period.
