EllexRaidla Foundation’s 2017 scholarships have been awarded

On Sunday, 10 December 2017, Ellex Raidla and the Estonian National Culture Foundation awarded scholarships to University of Tartu law students with the best results.
This year the EllexRaidla Foundation scholarships were distributed as follows.
•        Meril Kristi Haljand and Kerli Paasoja were each awarded a 1,000 euro scholarship for master's studies in law.
•        Kirti Jürimäe and Liisa Maria Kuuskmaa were each awarded a scholarship worth 1,000 euros for law studies.
•        Mediea Dzaparidze, Georg Kuusik and Tommi Sepponen were each awarded a 500 euro scholarship to participate in the Willem C. Vis International Trades Law Practice Competition.
•        The Estonian Academic Law Society received a 2,000 euro scholarship to enable students from the University of Tartu to attend the European Private Law School at the University of Salzburg Summer University.
•        In spring 2018, scholarships will be given for participants in IT Law and participants in the Estonian Moot Court Competition.
Ellex Raidla's Managing Partner and Member of the Board Ants Nõmper encourages all students to participate in the scholarship competition. "In addition to recognising that the student has made the most of their studies in law, the scholarship is a good opportunity to make themselves more visible to a future employer. For example, currently six previous scholarship recipients are working at Ellex Raidla, "says Nõmper.
The EllexRaidla Foundation was founded by Ellex Raidla Law Office in 2007 for the 15th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia, with the aim to support the academic and research activities of students from the University of Tartu each year. Members of the Council of the Fund are Prof. Irene Kull, Prof. Kalle Merusk, Dr. iur. Ants Nõmper (chairman), Dr. iur Jüri Raidla and previous grantee senior associate Gerda Liik.
We wish all grantees the best of luck and success with their studies!
