Zinta Jansons is Co-Head of Finance and tax practice and is one of the most experienced lawyers in the Finance & Tax practice group at Ellex in Latvia. During the last 20 years, she has led numerous transactions and complex M&A deals and has advised on many landmark transactions in Latvia and across the Baltics. The scope of her experience includes transaction structuring, tax structuring, business integrations, domestic and cross border reorganizations, financing transactions, regulatory approvals processes, financial services transactions and regulatory matters. She has advised US-based investors, multinationals and regional leaders concerning their investments in Latvia.

Zinta has served on the board of directors of the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia and the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia. She has also advised several of the firm’s pro bono clients involved in the arts, education and youth social programs.

Zinta Jansons worked tirelessly to ensure we achieved our goal. Zinta is an excellent communicator, provided the appropriate options on which to base our decisions, and ensured that we fully understood the consequences of any decisions we made.
