Ellex adds two Associate Partners in Latvia

We are proud and delighted to announce that starting from January 2024, our team will be complemented by the addition of two Associate Partners, all of whom have gained their extensive professional experience while working at Ellex in Latvia and other companies:

Zane Bule – Mitka, Dr.iur., Associate Partner

Zane Bule – Mitka is an attorney-at-law with more than 15 years of experience in leading Baltic law firms and managing the legal department of an international company, mainly specializing in M&A transactions and commercial law. Zane has provided legal support in major M&A, bond issue, finance, and investment transactions. In future, Zane will strengthen and develop the M&A, as well as commercial law practice at Ellex in Latvia.

Zane Veidemane-Bērziņa, Associate Partner, Co-head of Banking and Finance practice

Zane Veidemane-Bērziņa is an attorney-at-law with considerable experience in the area of financial services regulation, obtained during a twenty-year career in a law firm and one of the leading credit institutions. She advises banks and other financial service providers on start-up, licensing, establishment and operation of internal control systems, new product introductions, complex compliance, and supervisory issues, as well as corporate acquisitions and restructuring in the financial sector. She has a particular interest in innovative payment solutions and digitization regulation. Zane also has unique experience in state aid matters, including the financing of major infrastructure projects and the implementation of restructuring support in various sectors, including transport, energy, and banking.
