Ellex advised Gemoss on the acquisition of UAB Sangaida

On May 2025, Latvian hospitality sector leader SIA Gemoss acquired 100% of the shares in UAB Sangaida, a long-standing Lithuanian supplier to the HoReCa industry.

Sangaida has been operating in Lithuania for over 20 years, serving restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses with a wide range of professional kitchen, bar, and table equipment, tableware, takeaway packaging, accessories, and training services.

Ellex advised the buyer Gemoss on all legal aspects related to the share purchase agreement, helping ensure a clear and efficient process throughout the transaction.

The legal team at Ellex was led by Laura Paulaitė and Paulius Gruodis, who supported the client from negotiation to closing. Financial and legal due diligence prior to Ellex’s involvement was carried out by KPMG.
