Ellex experts join the CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year juror panel
Ellex M&A experts Rūta Armonė, Ermo Kosk and Raimonds Slaidiņš have been selected as jurors for the Country Selection Committee for the 2024 CEE Deals of the Year Awards.
The CEE Deals of the Year Awards, organized by CEE Legal Matters, honour the most significant and impactful transactions in Central and Eastern Europe. Since their inception in 2017, these awards have recognised outstanding legal and transactional achievements across the region.
Rūta Armonė, a partner at Ellex in Lithuania, co-heads the Corporate and M&A practice. She has extensive experience in corporate, M&A, and securities law, representing various public and private clients on general corporate and complex transactional matters. Ruta’s comprehensive evaluation of transactions based on their overall impact on the CEE region, along with her dedication to the venture capital and start-up ecosystem, significantly contributes to the selection process.
Ermo Kosk, a partner and one of the most recognised new generation transaction attorneys in Estonia, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the panel. His expertise spans local and cross-border M&A transactions in various European countries. Ermo’s extensive experience in acquisitions, takeovers, complex financing, and real estate transactions has been instrumental in identifying landmark deals that shape the CEE region.
Raimonds Slaidiņš, co-founder and senior partner at Ellex in Latvia, leads the firm’s mergers & acquisitions practice. Raimonds specialises in the acquisition and sale of companies and business divisions, joint ventures, and corporate work in general. His innovative approach and deep understanding of the legal landscape ensure that the most impactful transactions are celebrated and recognised.
As part of the Country Selection Committee, Ruta, Ermo and Raimonds will evaluate transactions based on their legal complexity, market significance, innovation, and overall impact on the CEE region. Their expertise and commitment are crucial in identifying and celebrating these landmark deals.
