Ellex in Estonia ranked 2nd among Estonian law firms

Äripäev, Estonia’s business newspaper with the widest circulation, lists Ellex in Estonia among the most successful law firms in Estonia.

2021 was a successful inter-crisis year – first shock of the corona crisis was over and the economy quickly recovered. On the other hand, the war in Ukraine and the pan-European energy crisis had not yet started, and the inflation numbers were moderate. For Ellex in Estonia, 2021 was the year of IPOs.

Estonian issuers made a total of 14 public offerings of securities, while 9 of these offerings were IPOs. “Ellex is an unrivalled market leader as a securities market transaction adviser, having advised most of the transactions in 2021,” commented Ants Nõmper, managing partner at Ellex in Estonia.

He assesses the beginning of this year as good as last year, but the effects of various new crises and the cooling of the economy are felt, due to which Nõmper assumes that in terms of profit, this year will not be as good as last year.
