Ellex Receives the IFLR European Award for Baltic Firm of the Year 2017

At the IFLR European Awards ceremony held in London on April 20, the Ellex circle of law firms received the national firm of the year award for the Baltics. The IFLR European Awards recognise those market-leading European law firms that are consistently involved in highly complex and innovative international transactions.

This is the third significant award that Ellex has received in less than a year. In late 2016, Ellex was the recipient of the prestigious Mergermarket European M&A Award for the Baltics and in April 2017, Ellex took home the renowned Chambers Europe Client Service Award (Baltic-wide). The latter was particularly significant as the Client Service Award is not awarded on an annual or predetermined jurisdictional basis, but is based on outstanding market and client feedback for individual firms.

‘’This is a very significant distinction for us, since the award is presented to the leading law firms specializing in the areas of Corporate and M&A, and Banking & Finance law. These particular practice areas are among the top areas of expertise for Ellex, where we have been able to advise clients on a number of complex legal matters which have contributed to the development of our clients’ businesses. In addition, the IFLR European Award is the third major award received by Ellex in recent months,’’ comments Filips Kļaviņš, Managing Partner of Ellex in Latvia.
