Grete-Kai Teeäär is a senior associate at Ellex in Estonia specialising in dispute resolution. Additionally, Grete-Kai also deals with issues related to employment law, as she has published several articles concerning this area of practice.
Grete-Kai graduated from the University of Tartu with Master of Laws degree. Before joining Ellex in Estonia, Grete-Kai worked for more than three years in another law firm where she gathered experience representing clients in various civil and criminal proceedings and consulted clients in all principal areas of practice. Grete-Kai has also practiced law in the Supreme Court of Estonia, prosecutor’s office, Student Law Office of the University of Tartu, functioned as a teaching assistant of employment law and held lectures on different areas of law for high school students all over Estonia.
Grete-Kai has been an exchange student in Italian University of Roma Tre, where she focused on international trade and EU law. Additionally, Grete-Kai has participated in Estonian Moot Court Competition in 2019 where her team won the first place.
