Mergermarket, the leading provider of M&A data and intelligence, has announced their M&A deal results of the first half of the year.
According to the latest research, Ellex, the circle of leading Baltic law firms, has reached the highest deal count with 10 deals among Baltic law firms, being in top3 together with Noerr and Dentons in CEE region.
The rankings compare the most active law firms in the M&A market for the period from January to June 2020.
Main trends from the report:
- Total Global M&A value USD 901.6bn, down by -52.7% compared to 1H19
- Europe M&A value USD 291.5bn, grown 30.6% compared to 1H2019
- Private equity share is the highest half-year since 2005, USD 223.4bn
