Delfi Lithuania Acquired the EBIT And HR Week Conferences
The conference business has gained even greater strategic importance within Delfi’s portfolio of activities. UAB Delfi in Lithuania acquired the EBIT and HR Week conferences in Lithuania and Latvia.
To manage existing and new conferences, Delfi will expand its conference team, which will be led by Sandra Meškauskaitė-Stepšienė, previously held the position as Delfi’s Chief Administrative Officer. She is also the long-standing head of the innovation and progress conference LOGIN.
Dainius Baltrušaitis, one of the founders and the public face of the EBIT and HR Week conferences, will continue supporting by ensuring a smooth organization process. He will also participate as a moderator, speaker, and conference content curator.
Delfi CEO Vytautas Benokraitis states that the expansion of conference content is a strategic and well-considered decision: ” Now, we aim to explore other event formats by offering events focused on specific topics and business audiences. Strengthening the company’s position in the conference market diversifies revenue streams, ensuring more sustainable growth for Delfi in Lithuania and the entire corporate group.”
Delfi, together with Ekspress Grupp, also plans further expansion in the conference business. Recently, Delfi Eesti acquired a training business in Estonia.
The buyer, Delfi, was represented throughout the entire transaction process by the law firm “Ellex Valiunas.” The legal team included Ellex in Lithuania Partners Ramūnas Petravičius and Marius Juonys, Expert Gintaras Balčius, and Senior Associate Arvydas Grušeckas.
