Ekspress Grupp acquired the Lithuanian news portal lrytas.lt

Ekspress Grupp, the leading media group in the Baltic States, acquired the online news portal lrytas.lt from the largest newspaper in Lithuania, Lietuvos rytas.

AS Ekspress Grupp and UAB Lietuvos rytas signed an agreement on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the subsidiary UAB Lrytas, which manages the internet portal lrytas.lt. The value and terms of the transaction are confidential.

The legal adviser of the transaction is Ellex in Lithuania, and the financial consultant is Swedbank.
