Advising AS Semetron in a public procurement dispute

Ellex in Estonia advises Semetron AS in connection with a public procurement dispute in which Semetron AS is challenging the results of a procurement procedure conducted by the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI).

“Semetron has challenged the decisions of the ECDI and the decision of the Public Procurement Dispute Committee, as it considers that the ECDI has wrongly evaluated the bidders and tenders. It is incomprehensible how the joint bidders MDSC Systems OÜ and AS Maru Metall, who themselves sought to have the procurement invalidated through state supervision due to their inability to participate in a legitimate public procurement, are now the winners of the public procurement,” comments Arne Ots, Disputes Partner at Ellex in Estonia.
