Forus was granted the right to conclude a procurement contract with Tallinn Airport

Ellex Partner in Estonia Arne Ots and Associate Alan Paas successfully represented the security company Forus Security AS in disputes concerning the procurement of security services for Tallinn Airport.

The public procurement organised by AS Tallinna Lennujaam consisted of two parts – passenger aviation security service and airport operation aviation security service. AS G4S Eesti was successful in the first part of the tender, and Forus Security AS in the second part.

G4S submitted objections to the public procurement review committee regarding the second part of the procurement. G4S claimed that awarding a procurement contract to Forus Security AS would not be legal. However, the disputes initiated by G4S were not successful. As a result of the proceedings, Forus Security AS was granted the right to conclude a procurement contract with AS Tallinna Lennujaam and start providing services at the airport.
