European Whistleblower Guide
In 2019 the European Parliament implemented a new directive protecting whistle-blowers across the European Union.
More and more companies are advised to take initial preparation steps and familiarise themselves with the legal framework as compliance in one country does not coincide with compliance in other European Union countries.
Together with the DORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH and WSG network, Ellex team contributed to the creation of the European Whistleblower Guide in Latvia and Lithuania.
An overview on the implementation of the EU directive in Latvia was prepared by Associate Partner Irina Kostina and Senior Associate Ints Skaldis, whilst Partner Ramunas Petravicius and Associate Kamilė Skrupskytė prepared the Lithuanian part.
