AmCham elects Associate partner Sarmis Spilbergs as Board Member in Latvia
On October 28, 2021, AmCham Board elected John Martin Tully, CEO of MikroTik as the Chairman of the Board and President of AmCham and Sarmis Spilbergs, Associate Partner of Ellex Klavins as the Board Member.
Sarmis is an Associate Partner and Head of Technology, Media and Communications practice at Ellex in Latvia. He advises clients in various fields including information technology, e-commerce, consumer rights, data protection, pharmacy regulation and licensing of various business activities as well as general corporate advice.
Upon assuming his position Sarmis comments: “I am honoured to join the AmCham board of directors as its newest member. In my professional career I have always focused on helping innovative businesses thrive and succeed while navigating through challenging legal environments. I look forward to contributing my expertise to AmCham initiatives in health and technology sectors to develop a sustainable, growth oriented, business environment in Latvia, that fosters innovation and foreign investment.”
