Ellex partners have been selected as judges for the CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Award

Ellex Partners Ermo Kosk (Estonia) and Filips Klavnis (Latvia) have been selected to join the Country Selection Committee for the 2022 CEE Deals of the Year Awards — the most prestigious peer-selected awards for the legal industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

These awards have been granted since 2017 by CEE Legal Matters — the leading source of news and information about lawyers and legal industry in Central and Eastern Europe — to celebrate the transactions, financings, IPOs, and other deals that underpin growth throughout the region, as well as the lawyers and law firms who make them happen. Members of the Final Selection Committee are tasked with reviewing the shortlisted submissions in each CEE jurisdiction and casting votes to select the ultimate winners – including the final CEE Deal of the Year. Accordingly, Ermo and Filips were invited by CEE Legal Matters to join the Country Selection Committee for Estonia and Latvia based on their reputation, expertise, and knowledge, as well as their well-established commitment to the development of the region’s legal and commercial markets.

The finalists for the CEE Deal of the Year Awards will be announced in the March 2023 issue of the CEE Legal Matters magazine, with winners selected by a Final Selection Committee announced at the annual CEE Deal of the Year Banquet scheduled for April 25, 2023 in Istanbul.
