Ellex: first choice for Baltic business leaders
For the third year running, Ellex has been named the top law firm in the Baltics by TNS Sifo Prospera. The Swedish market research company interviewed 301 Baltic based organisations to identify the best law firms in the region. Ellex was top ranked in legal competences (Best Legal Competence and Overall Performance (overall satisfaction of clients).
The respondents named a business-oriented mindset, strategic approach and international competence as key strengths of Ellex. The survey also separately rated the competences of law firms by their legal practice areas. Ellex maintains the leading positions in the Baltic legal market in M&A, banking and finance, dispute resolution, public procurement, competition and EU law, intellectual property and other sectors. In the field of energy, Ellex scored almost twice as high compared to other law firms in the Baltics, according to the feedback of clients.
Ants Nõmper, Managing Partner of Ellex Raidla (Estonia) adds that the key to finding the way to clients´ trust is efficient and in-depth advisory and project staffing so that partners are highly involved. “We have always had three main criteria in our client service: efficiency, sincerity and quality. This means we want our skills and team to be simply the best. It is a reward for us to see the acknowledgement from the market in receiving No1 position across the Baltics as well as in Estonia,” Nõmper says.
The survey “Tier 1 Law Firm Review 2018”, conducted by Kantar Sifo, involved 301 executives and lawyers of companies in the Baltics who used the services of the law firms in 2017. The respondents were asked to name and rate law firms in separate practice areas and according to different legal competences. The survey was performed in March-April 2018.
