Ellex Kļaviņš will consult the Ministry of Finance during audit of the projects of EU funds
On the 26th of February a decision posted on the website of the Ministry of Finance shows that the ministry has decided on entering into a service agreement with Law Firm Ellex Klavins about provision of legal assistance in respect to audits of the projects of the EU funds. The Ministry of Finance has been appointed to be an audit authority of the European Union funds, and our task will be to provide assistance to the departments of the Ministry of Finance in charge of audit of the projects of the EU funds on issues related to application of the law and performance of functions. The agreement is concluded until the end of the year 2018, and it involves oral advice, drafting of documents and opinions, due diligence, negotiation, and other kind of legal assistance in Latvia and Brussels.
