Ellex Lithuania recognised at the IFLR Europe Awards

The IFLR Europe Awards – one of the most prestigious legal market awards in Europe – last week took place in London, recognising the most innovative transactions, law firms and legal professionals. The Ellex Lithuania team received two awards, which were accepted by Associate Partner, Eglė Neverbickienė.

Ellex Lithuania received the special Net Zero Transition Award in recognition of its central legal role over the past year in structuring and delivering large-scale renewable energy financings and transactions that directly support Lithuania’s and the wider Baltic region’s net-zero transition.

In the Securitisation and Structured Finance category, the Vytis Reno Loans, the first secured green bond offering in the Baltic States, issued by Lithuania’s national development bank ILTE, was named Deal of the Year.

The IFLR Europe Awards recognise the most innovative cross-border transactions in financial and corporate law, as well as law firms, practice groups, and individual lawyers across Europe. IFLR Deal of the Year awards are granted based on legal innovation, the complexity of transaction structures, their impact on market practice, and the ability to address complex regulatory or cross-border issues. The IFLR Europe Awards have now been held for the 28th time.
