Ellex receives four CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Awards in the Baltics

On April 5, 2022, the CEE Legal Matters Dealer’s Choice International Law Firm Summit and the Deal of the Year Awards Banquet were held to recognise top tier lawyers from Central and Eastern Europe’s leading law firms and ILFs active in the region.

The two events took place at the exquisite Honourable Artillery Company venue in London. This was the most competitive year to date, with the jury voting on a record number of submissions, making the ultimate winners all the more worthy of praise.

Ellex is proud to announce that our law firm received the award in four categories:

  • Estonia: Advising on Enefit Green Privatization and IPO
  • Latvia: Advice on Akropolis Group’s Acquisition of SIA Delta Property from AMD Holding
  • Lithuania: Advising on Partners Group’s Acquisition of Fortum’s Baltic District Heating Operations
  • 2021 Baltic Deal of the Year: Advice on Partners Group’s Acquisition of Fortum’s Baltic District Heating Operations

We are honoured that our capabilities and efforts have been recognised by yet another notable award. It motivates us to continue shaping and developing the Baltic legal market in the future.

CEE Legal Matters’ CEE Deal of the Year Awards recognise the largest and most important deals in the region. Law firms are nominated based on deals submitted for consideration. A two-tiered panel of prominent lawyers from across the region evaluates the submissions based on deal complexity, size, and market significance.

According to CEE Legal Matters, this has been the most competitive year to date. CEE Legal Matters received more submissions for the Deals of the Year in this, its fifth year of existence, than ever before – 319 submissions, from 108 law firms – reflecting a remarkable year of growth, cooperation, and expansion, all performed against a truly challenging backdrop.

CEE Legal Matters is a print and online publication for and about lawyers interested and working in Europe’s emerging legal markets. It is the go-to source of information about lawyers and legal markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
