Hansa Grupp sells Hansabuss to a Finnish investor
Ellex in Estonia advised Hansa Group on the sale of Hansabuss, marking a significant cross-border transaction in the regional mobility sector.
Finland-based investment company CapMan Infra, through its CapMan Nordic Infrastructure II fund, has signed an agreement with Hansa Group to acquire Hansabuss, the leading bus operator in the Baltic region. The transaction supports Hansabuss’ continued development, enabling the company to strengthen its position in the Baltic and Nordic markets under new ownership.
The deal reflects ongoing consolidation and internationalisation trends in the transport sector, where operators seek to scale operations and enhance services across borders. The new ownership also creates opportunities for continued investment in fleet modernisation and service quality, supporting the company’s long-term growth.
Ellex advised Hansa Group throughout the transaction, including structuring, negotiations, and preparation of the transaction documentation.
The client was advised by Ott Aava, Kerli Salu, Merlin Liis-Toomela and Karl Rudolf Org.
