Infortar acquired Tallinna Raamatutrükikoda
Estonia’s largest investment company Infortar AS acquired the Tallinn Book Printers. Ellex team in Estonia advised Infortar AS.
“Tallinna Raamatutrükikoda is one of the most recognized players in its field. In many manufacturing and export industries, consolidation is a common trend and key to unlocking additional efficiencies. This helps secure positions in both domestic and international markets,” noted Priit Tamme, Deputy Managing Director of Infortar.
TRT main area of activity is printing of books, approximately 5 million printed materials are produced annually. The company employs 104 people, and its production and warehouse space are approximately 8,000 sqm.
The Infortar group consists of 104 companies, operates in seven countries and the company’s main fields of activity are energy, maritime transport, and real estate. Infortar owns Estonia’s only internationally certified security printing company Vaba Maa, its subsidiary CardPlus VM, which specializes in the personalization of plastic cards, and AS Printon, which joined in August 2016 and is mainly focused on the book printing market. The mission of Infortar is to build well-functioning companies that hold strong market positions to contribute to the development of the Estonian economy.
