New shareholders in Windfarm Akmene One

The Ellex in Lithuania team advised shareholders of Windfarm Akmene One, UAB on a sale of 100% of shares in Windfarm Akmene One, UAB – a Lithuanian company developing an on-shore windfarm in Akmene region of Lithuania with installed capacity of up to 75MW.

The company owns one of the most extensive windfarm projects in Lithuania ever.

Ellex advised the sellers in all stages of the transaction – in conducting the vendors due diligence, negotiating with the potential bidders and leading the SPA negotiations with the preferred bidder. It also included negotiating a package of documents required for further cooperation among the parties.

Ellex has also provided continuous regulatory advice not only on the transaction but also on the development of the project itself since the sellers and Windfarm Akmene One have been a client of Ellex from the very early stage of the project.
