SmartCap invests in Taaleri Energia’s infrastructure fund

Ellex in Estonia advised SmartCap Green Fund on its investment into Taaleri SolarWind III, a renewable energy infrastructure fund managed by Taaleri Energia.

SmartCap committed €25 million to accelerate the development and operation of onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage assets across the Baltics, Nordics, Poland and select markets in Europe and the U.S.

The fund has reached €630 million at final close and is backed by leading institutions including the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The investment advances the green transition by integrating innovative technologies into energy infrastructure and strengthening regional energy security.
