The E energija group concluded a deal on the sale of its companies’ shares to Vilniaus šilumos tinklai

Law firm Ellex Valiunas represented the company Kogeneracija (a part of the E energija group) in concluding a transaction regarding the sale of 100% of Miesto energija’s and Pramonės energija’s shares and 4,34% of Klaipėdos energija’s shares to Vilniaus šilumos tinklai.

This transaction is a part of the long-term strategy of the largest Lithuanian heat and hot water supply company Vilniaus šilumos tinklai, which serves more than 210,000 households and business entities in the capital, expanding in Klaipėda. The annual consolidated income of Pramonės energija and Miesto energija is about 5.5 million. Eur and the share of renewable and waste heat energy sources in the fuel structure is 100%. After receiving the approval of the Competition Council and other institutions, the transaction is intended to be completed in the first half of 2024.
