Vilija Vaitkutė Pavan elected to the ArbitralWomen Board of Directors
Vilija Vaitkutė Pavan, Partner at Ellex Lithuania, has been elected to the Board of Directors of ArbitralWomen. During the 2026–2028 term, she will be the only representative from Northern and Eastern Europe, as well as the Baltic states, on the Board. Vilija Vaitkutė Pavan is one of the most experienced arbitration practitioners in the region.
Founded in 1993, ArbitralWomen is an international non-governmental organization bringing together women practising in dispute resolution, including arbitration as an alternative to court litigation. The organisation has members from more than 40 countries worldwide. Its mission is to promote gender diversity, enhance the visibility of women, and expand professional opportunities for women in the international dispute resolution community.
Vilija specialises in international and domestic arbitration, complex commercial disputes, investment arbitration, as well as disputes relating to energy, infrastructure, transport, banking, shareholder matters, and other high-profile cases. She has also represented Lithuania on the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.
