Ellex adds three Associate Partners in Latvia

We are proud and delighted to announce that starting from April 11, 2023, our team will be complemented by the addition of three Associate Partners, all of whom have gained their extensive professional experience while working at Ellex in Latvia:

• Marta Cera – Co-Head of Banking & Finance practice

Marta will continue to co-head the firm’s Banking & Finance practice group. Marta has extensive experience in financial regulatory matters, financing transactions, including secured lending and structured finance, and has developed the firm’s investment funds practice.

In taking up the role of an associate partner, Marta will work to strengthen the Banking & Finance team’s position as a market leader.

• Anete Dimitrovska – ESG & Dispute Resolution

Anete is leading the firm’s ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and sustainability practice that covers a wide range of sectors, assisting clients with embracing responsible commercial practices and navigation of reporting and regulatory requirements. In addition, Anete will continue to strengthen the dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration team, where she has an extensive experience in corporate, commercial, as well as administrative disputes.

• Edvijs Zandars – Telecoms & Regulatory

Edvijs specializes in telecommunications, IP, IT, Competition law and other areas of regulatory law. He has extensive experience in these fields. At the forefront of the next digital revolution, Edvijs is determined to elevate the firm’s electronic communications practice. He also aspires to increase the reliance on Ellex as a trusted advisor and partner of creators of innovative technologies and automotive solutions, as well as digital service providers and policymakers.
