Ellex experts appointed to the ICC Court of Arbitration and the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR
Ellex experts Daiga Zivtina, partner in Latvia, was appointed as a Member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration for Latvia and Maria Teder, counsel in Estonia, as delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR for the 2024-2027 mandate by International Chamber of Commerce.
For the term running from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2027, the new Court is comprised of the president, 19 vice-presidents, and 170 members from 119 countries. Ms. Salomon will continue to lead the Court for the next term and seven new vice-presidents and 121 new Court members were appointed. Members of the ICC Court are appointed by the ICC World Council, upon recommendation of ICC local offices known as national committees and groups, or upon proposal of the Court President.
Currently women represent approximately 51% of the Court, with 97 female and 94 male members. This milestone underscores ICC’s dedication to fostering a diverse and representative body that reflects the global business community it serves.
