Elīna Kārkliņa is an Associate specialising in commercial law, providing legal assistance to both local and international clients across a broad range of commercial law matters. She advises on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, supporting clients throughout every stage of the transaction process from conducting legal due diligence to drafting and negotiating transaction documents and assisting with the successful completion of transactions.
In her day-to-day practice, Elīna advises clients on the establishment of companies, associations, and foundations, as well as the registration of branches and representative offices of foreign companies in Latvia. She also provides legal support on corporate governance matters and the implementation of various corporate changes, including changes to management boards, the registration of beneficial owners, share capital increases, loan capitalisations, and other corporate law matters.
