Elina Lorens is a lawyer at Ellex in Estonia, specialising in criminal proceedings and dispute resolution.
Elina holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Tartu and a master’s degree in law from the University of Amsterdam.
Her first practical experience was an internship at Ellex in Estonia. Prior to this, Elina worked in the banking sector in the field of anti-money laundering, gaining valuable experience in financial crime prevention. In spring 2023, Elina contributed to the ISRD-4 study on juvenile delinquency, commissioned by the Estonian Ministry of Justice, which analysed the prevalence and frequency of offending and victimisation among students in grades 8–11.
