Madlena Drozdova

Madlena Drozdova is a certified Latvian Tax Consultant specializing in corporate and personal income tax (CIT and PIT) as well as transfer pricing issues.

She previously worked as a tax auditor and continues to specialize in a wide range of tax and financial matters, including tax due diligence (TDD). In her work, she assists both businesses and individuals with tax planning and structuring, provides solutions for residency-related issues, evaluates and registers permanent establishments, and performs transfer pricing analysis and documentation preparation. Additionally, she represents clients before the State Revenue Service, including in Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) cases. She also actively provides assistance with tax matters for public benefit organizations and their registration.

Madlena is constantly improving her knowledge by pursuing a master’s degree in “Accounting and Auditing” at the University of Latvia. She is also an invited lecturer at Riga Technical University’s International Business and Customs Institute, where she shares her knowledge with future industry professionals.

Madlena holds a professional master’s and bachelor’s degree in Customs and Tax Administration from Riga Technical University. Her career began at the State Revenue Service, where she worked in the Customs and Tax Control Departments. This experience has provided her with an in-depth understanding of tax and customs policies and practices both in Latvia and internationally.
