Nijolė Vaičiūnaitė is an expert who specializes in real estate, infrastructure, construction and development, environmental protection, real estate litigation and arbitration, real estate investments and transactions. She has taken part in implementing a number of strategic regional energy infrastructure projects, such as the power link with Poland Litpol Link and its expansion, the strengthening of electricity transmission grid capacity for the power link with Sweden, NordBalt, reconstruction of the power transmission line Lithuanian Power Plant-Vilnius, optimization of the Lithuanian northeastern electricity transmission node, planned construction project of Visaginas nuclear power plant, decommissioning projects of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant including dismantling of the RBMK reactors, projects for renewal of the infrastructure and suprastructure of Klaipėda state seaport, as well as construction projects of waste treatment plants, roads, tunnels, bridges and viaducts.
Nijolė was responsible for such complex projects as the construction of Hollister medical products plants, expansion of Smurfit Kappa plant, construction of the shopping centre Ozas, and modernization of the railway infrastructure by Siemens. Currently, she is among the leading lawyers of the Real Estate practice group.
