Pauls Ančs is a senior associate specializing in issues related to EU market freedoms for goods and services. 

Pauls’ main activities concern online trading, digital services, unfair commercial practices, advertising, consumer rights and product safety. He represents clients in communication and disputes with business partners and regulatory authorities in areas that require product-specific legal knowledge. He particularly enjoys helping clients develop e-shops, online trading platforms and other kinds of online intermediary services.

Pauls employs the principles UX design in legal work – efficient, plain language text is easier to work with, takes less man-hours to administrate and avoids misunderstandings with partners, thus saving client’s resources in the long term.

Pauls is also a volunteer contributor to the open-source projects LineageOS and OpenStreetMap.
