Roberts Rimša is a senior associate who has worked as a lawyer and head of legal in several Latvian commercial banks, gaining broad expertise in banking and finance, as well as debt recovery.
In 2006, Roberts joined a law firm using and enriching his expertise in banking and finance, as well as expanding it in such areas as mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Roberts has participated in the development of amendments to the Credit Institutions Law on the transfer of a credit institution entity. In 2011, Roberts became a sworn attorney and since then has specialized in civil and commercial dispute resolution representing clients in out-of-court, court and arbitration proceedings, as well as in criminal proceedings regarding proceeds of crime.
Roberts also advises and represents clients in insolvency and legal protection proceedings of legal entities and private individuals, as well as in liquidation and insolvency proceedings of credit institutions.
