Vilius Norvaišas is a senior associate in the firm’s Commercial & Regulatory practice group. He specializes in the fields of intellectual property, information technology, advertising, media as well as consumer law and personal data protection.
His experience in advising and representing clients covers various copyright protection issues, computer software development and licensing matters, IT contract disputes. A significant part of his practice also involves representing clients in industrial property disputes – including trademarks, designs, and patents – before the State Patent Bureau, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, courts, and other institutions.
Vilius has a wide range of international academic and professional experience: a Master’s degree from Vilnius University, an LL.M. with honours in Intellectual Property and ICT law from KU Leuven, a certificate in US intellectual property law from Harvard Law School, completed a Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission, deepened his knowledge in exchange studies at the University of Melbourne and the University of Bologna.
