OCDE RIGA Global Access to Justice Roundtable

In September the OCDE RIGA Global Access to Justice Roundtable 2022 took place in Riga.

Over 100 representatives of justice ministries, international organisations and civil society organisations, and experts from over 30 countries joined and contributed to discussions on people-centred justice transformation. Discussions highlighted the need of putting people at the centre of justice services design and delivery, leaving no one behind, and increasing trust in justice and democratic institutions more broadly.

Ellex partner in Latvia Daiga Zivtina participated at the event as a representative of Foreign Investors’ Council in Latvia and spoke on the topic “Enhancing responsiveness of justice systems via digital transformation”.

The OECD Roundtables on Equal Access to Justice are a forum for mutual exchange of good practices and lessons learned and allows policymakers to share experiences on improving access to justice for all, including from the perspective of people and businesses.
