Bauroc strengthens market position with acquisition of Rae Kivitehas

Ellex in Estonia is advising Bauroc AS, the largest manufacturer of aerated concrete products in Northern Europe, on the acquisition of Rae Kivitehas. The transaction will be finalized once approval has been obtained from the Competition Authority.

Bauroc’s CEO, Ivar Sikk, stated that the main goal of acquiring Rae Kivitehas is to increase production capacity and offer clients a more modern and diverse product range.

Bauroc AS is the largest producer of aerated concrete products in Northern Europe. The consolidated turnover of the group’s companies is €60 million, and it employs 220 people across four countries. The company operates state-of-the-art factories in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania and has a sales company in Finland. Bauroc sells its products in the Baltic and Nordic countries, as well as in Iceland, Poland, Germany, and Switzerland.

The advisory team for the transaction was led by Risto Vahimets and Alla Kuznetsova, with team members Karin Tartu, Andre Tuul, and Katrina Külm. The merger clearance application is being handled by Martin Mäesalu and Miikael Tuus.
