Infortar to acquire Litagra, one of Lithuania’s leading agricultural groups

Ellex advised an investment company Infortar AS on its agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Lithuanian agricultural group Litagra UAB through its subsidiary Infortar Agro OÜ. Following completion, the acquisition will make Infortar one of the leading milk producers in the Baltics.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals and fulfilling other conditions set out in the agreement. Under the transaction, Infortar will acquire the 100% shareholding in the Litagra from the company founder Gintaras Kateiva, Invalda INVL, and Adomas Grigaitis.

Ellex provided comprehensive legal advice to Infortar throughout the transaction process, including transaction structuring, legal due diligence, preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation, and regulatory aspects of the deal.
