Tera Ventures leads €620k investment into Estonian maternity support startup CARÁ Health

Ellex in Estonia advised venture capital firm Tera Ventures on the €620k funding round to CARA Health, a health and wellness start-up that provides women with support and guidance throughout the maternity journey, from pregnancy to postpartum.

The round was led by Tera Ventures, with participation from Startup Istanbul founder Burak Büyükdemir.

CARÁ Health was founded by paediatric nurse CEO Anna Strubel alongside entrepreneurs Carina Vantsi and Keiro Vantsi in 2022.

Alongside a comprehensive app, CARÁ Health also features physical locations in Tallinn, Tartu, and Berlin. These locations offer women’s health services ranging from gynaecology to nutritionist counselling, pregnancy yoga, midwife and doula services, and much more.

The investment will assist the company in further developing its product and technology offer and expanding and growing in the DACH region.

Tera Ventures was advised by Ellex Partner Antti Perli and Counsel Rutt Värk.
