Antti Perli re-elected as a member of the new Management Board of Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA)

Ellex counsel Antti Perli is among the 11 board members elected at EstVCA’s board election event held on 21 October.

The new EstVCA Management Board will continue to develop the Estonian PE/VC market and organisation for the next two years (2021-2023).

Ellex in Estonia is an associate member of the Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA) – the representative body of private equity and venture capital industry players and related support services providers in Estonia.

Antti Perli is one of the most experienced venture capital and emerging technology company attorneys in Estonia. His recent experience in the field of venture capital and private equity covers more than 100 investment transactions representing both the investors as well as target companies.

Antti has been the member of the EstVCA Management Board since 2015. During his term of office, he has contributed to several legal initiatives led by EstVCA, including  drafting the Estonian regulation for limited partnership funds, amendments to the taxation of share options and drafting other legislation relating to technology companies. He is also the main author of Estonian model documents for venture capital investments and startup companies.

Antti has extensive expertise in structuring and the formation of limited partnership funds, contractual funds, preparation of fund terms, limited partnership agreements and internal procedures, obtaining licenses and registrations and conducting negotiations with fund investors (LPs).
