Magnora Data Center invests in the development of the Risti data center campus

Ellex’s Estonian team advised Magnora Data Center ASA on the acquisition of a 50% stake in Risti Kampus OÜ, a joint venture with Sunly AS developing a large-scale data center campus in Risti, Western Estonia. 

Magnora Data Center is a Norwegian digital infrastructure company focused on developing and operating data center projects across Europe. Through the transaction, the company became Sunly’s partner in the Risti data center development project with an option to increase its stake to 75%. 

The first phase of the campus is planned to provide 180 MW with the potential to expand to 400 MW in the future. Supported by strong connectivity to data networks and access to renewable energy sources, the project is expected to become one of the most significant data center developments in Estonia.
