Pindstrup Mosebrug AS acquires SIA Compaqpeat

Ellex in Latvia provided legal support to Pindstrup Mosebrug AS in the acquisition of 100% of the shares in SIA Compaqpeat. SIA Compaqpeat owns the subsidiary SIA Meliorators 3, 72.98% of the shares in SIA Airīšu purvs, and 25% of the shares in Baloži & KO SIA. The company’s core business activities include peat extraction and processing, as well as the production and sale of peat and peat substrates.

With this acquisition, Compaqpeat becomes part of the Pindstrup Group. The investment strengthens Pindstrup’s position in strategically important growth markets and supports the company’s ambition to drive the industry toward a more sustainable future. It also marks a significant milestone in Compaqpeat’s development. Over the past 18 years, the company has grown into a globally recognized producer of high-quality substrates.
