The success of Taiwanese investments in Lithuania
Ellex in Lithuania represented Taiwania Capital fund in the investment stage in Lithuanian start-up Litilit. One of Taiwan’s most prominent venture capital funds invested 3.5 million. EUR. It is Taiwan’s first investment in a Lithuanian company from the 200 million USD fund allocated for Eastern and Central Europe.
At the investment stage, Ellex advised on legal matters, including due diligence and preparation of legal documents. The project was led by M&A partner Rūta Armonė and the team: associates Aušra Abraitytė, Kamilė Skrupskytė and Vilius Norvaišas.
Taiwan Investment Fund aims to strengthen cooperation between Taiwan and Central and Eastern European countries by investing in innovative technologies of the future. The Lithuanian company Litilit, which has established business relations with Taiwan, develops unique lasers, the demand for which is growing rapidly worldwide.
