We regularly represent clients in precedent-setting recognition and enforcement cases of foreign court rulings and arbitral awards in the Baltic countries. The team has exceptional experience in representing foreign court-appointed receivers and trustees in respect of their activities pursuant to the recognised foreign court orders in Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia.
Our firm cooperates with foreign law firms in enforcement of foreign court rulings on application of interim measures and when parallel proceedings are initiated in other jurisdictions. Usually, cases with cross-border elements involve complex analysis and interpretation of EU regulations and requests to the local courts to refer to the CJEU for a preliminary ruling. We cooperate with the state bailiffs in the enforcement stage to finalize the cases with the best possible results.
